Find the notched end of the RAM and insert it straight in so that it is perpendicular to the motherboard. You need to use slight pressure to insert the RAM. Just ensure the small holes on each side of the RAM fit into holders. If the RAM is properly inserted you will get a click sound. Lastly, replace the cover and reconnect all the peripherals. Restart your computer and if everything is properly done, you will get the Windows log in screen.
