How to Get Rid of the Windows/System32/Config/System Missing or Corrupt Problem?

Windows has taken over as the most popular operating system. Its all because of the great functionalities of this OS due to which users find it amazingly beneficial. But sometimes some issues of a broken PC make it harsh for the users to survive with this PC.

One of the most common errors in Windows is the windows/system32/config/system file is missing or corrupt error. This problem is quite hassling for the users as it prevents Windows users from booting the system. For booting the system properly with this OS, its important that the system is resolved of this error.

The users can remove this error by using an original Windows XP CD. This CD contains all the missing system 32 files of the system. The users should repair the Operating System through this CD by striking the R key for the repair process. You are also required to enter the administration username and password when the operating system asks for such information.

The users also need to use commands ren software software.bad and ren system system.bad. So, all the registry files which were not functioning due to the presence of this error, now work properly. These commands help in the repair of all the defective registry hives.

The user can also enable such changes once he chooses the CD as the booting option instead of the hard drive where Windows is installed. The BIOS can be used to prevent Windows from booting through the hard disk. The user can access such BIOS settings through pressing F1 or F2 keys as per the make of the system.
